Source : Escherichia Coli. Cys-Protein G Recombinant produced in E.Coli, is a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 201 amino acids and having a cys on N-terminal. Cys-Protein G has a predicted molecular mass of approximately 21.9kDa but it migrates with an apparent molecular mass of 40kDa in SDS-PAGE. The Cys-Protein G is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Protein G in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
