Specificity: The recombinant mouse monoclonal antibody rHIQB002 recognizes an extracellular epitope of human chemokine receptor CD194 (CCR4).
Background: CD194 is a G-protein-coupled seven membrane-spanning transmembrane protein serving as a high affinity receptor for C-C type chemokines TARC (CCL17) and MDC (CCL22), and as a coreceptor for HIV. It is expressed by all CLA+ T cells regardless of their Th1 or Th2 phenotype, on activated Th2, Treg, and activated NK cells, basophils and macrophages. Blocking CD194 function can be used for treatment of inflammation.
Flow cytometry: The reagent is designed for analysis of human blood cells using 10 μl reagent / 100 μl of whole blood or 106 cells in a suspension. The content of a vial (1 ml) is sufficient for 100 tests.
